What we've done so far. . .

Thursday we visited the First National Headquarters of Girl Scouts.  We participated in "the Early Years" session where we learned all about the history of GS and played some games and earned a patch.
We started on our Savannah Safari badge and walkedto City Market for lunch.  Stopped at the Juliette Low Birthplace and continued on our Safari tothe Andrew Low House (earned another patch).
Back to the hotel to dress for our etiquette class and dinnerat Old Pink House.  Thank you Miss Janis for teaching us how to dine in style like the proper ladies we are!  We even did a bit of Ghost hunting in the Pink House (none found).
Off to the Savannah Theatre for the live music performance "Savannah Live" which was very entertaining. Long day. . .

Friday we hopped on our little bus for our Tybee Island. . .beach walk with a marine biologist.  We. Also gotto try. Our hand at seining. . .throwing the net several times.   Mostly we just enjoyed the beautiful, warm water.  Dinner at the Crab Shack ("Where the elite eat in their bare feet").  We fed and wrestled a "gator" (we fed the live ones and wrestled the fake ones).  We really enjoyed the bird house where we made friends with all the rescued birds.

Back to the hotel for some pool time and games in our room.

How come the girls can text forever, but can write on the blog?!?!?

  2. my child is a girl of few words. Texting, talking, and now blogging. When I talked with her I heard "beach was fun. We walked on the beach and swam. " And that was in between eating pretzels and being distracted by her Savannah friends. Did they teach phone etiquette at the Pink House?
